Wedding Location First of all, don’t be surprised to hear that the wedding takes place somewhere unusual – military base for example. Since lots of people serving in the military are having a hard time organizing and planning anything ahead due to deployments, sometimes this is the only way for them to have a ceremony. On the other hand, if a couple is fortunate enough to choose their own location, they might pick some more traditional venues, such as Dream Manor Inn for example. Dress Code Almost everything that makes military weddings stand out in a certain way has to do with military traditions. Same goes for dress code which can be seen on these ceremonies. You are about to see lots of Army uniforms, emblems, medals, ribbons, or even custom challenge coins presented at one such wedding. People serving the Army are expected to appear in their uniforms, even if we are talking about the groom or bride themselves. It’s a matter of choice since the bride can opt to wear her usual wedding dress if she doesn’t want to be married in the uniform. Ashlyn Hooten, daughter of Philip & Brenda Hooten of Flagstaff, AZ and Michael Thille, son of Chris Thille & Michele Walvick of Phoenix, AZ were unified in marriage on April 7th, 2018. The ceremony was held at the Dream Manor Inn’s private sanctuary in Globe, AZ. Larmie Mowry, is the couple’s friend and officiated the ceremony as the beautiful couple stood together in front of a beautifully decorated arch with friends and family in attendance. During the unity ceremony, Michael & Ashlyn cracked open a geode to celebrate their marriage. Kristin Hooten of Flagstaff, AZ; is the bride’s sister and was the Maid of Honor. The bridesmaids were sister-in-law Mellissa Ybarra; friends, Alena Thomas of Flagstaff, Melissa Ybarra of Phoenix, AZ; Rebecca Harkness of Flagstaff, AZ and Danielle Taran of Prescott, AZ. The adorable flower girl was the groom’s niece, Olivia Ybarra of Phoenix, AZ. The groom’s brother in law, Gabe Ybarra of Phoenix, AZ, had the honor of being the best man. The groomsmen were the groom’s friends, Aaron Blair, Mark Buchanan, Nemanja Terzic of Phoenix, AZ; and the groom’s brother in law, Brandon Hooten of Flagstaff, AZ. The ringer bearer was Gavin Ybarra of Phoenix, AZ is the groom’s nephew. Approximately 80 friends and family awaited the newlyweds with a vivacious welcome followed by an elegant dinner inside the Dream Manor Inn’s Tuscany Banquet room. Entertaining the night’s formalities was Owner, Carl Williams and DJ Gilbert Jacinto from Genuine Events who packed a lively dance floor with music entertainment. The groom’s nephew, Isaiah Abeyta from New Mexico as the cute ring bearer. A lovely dinner and lively reception with approximately 75 friends and family followed at Dream Manor Inn’s Tuscany Banquet room, emceed by owner Carl Williams. The couple was married in a beautiful outdoor sanctuary ceremony facing the waterfall. Officiating was Co-Owner of the Dream Manor Inn, Rebecca Williams. The couples own children Mason and Josephine Pollack were the ring bearer and pretty flower girl. The bride’s two sons, Kris Sene of Casa Grande and Neiko Susunkewa of Ft. Carson, CO, escorted the bride down the aisle. The bride is daughter to Denise Sene of Casa Grande, AZ & the groom is son to Karen Ladd of Chandler, AZ. A lively reception of friends and family gathered for the lovely couple at Dream Manor Inn’s Tuscany Banquet room and was followed by divine dinner.
